What contaminants does the AQUACRISTAL cartridge remove from the water?

The AQUACRISTAL cartridge is designed to remove a wide range of pollutants from drinking water thanks to its multi-layer filtration system. Here are the main contaminants it can filter out:

  1. Activated carbon

Pollutants removed: Non-polar organic substances (mineral oils, VOCs, phenols, chloroform), micropollutants, pharmaceutical residues, certain heavy metals.

How it works: Made from recycled coconut shells, activated carbon effectively traps pollutants and neutralizes water taste and odour.

  1. KDF 55

Pollutants removed: Chlorine, lead, mercury, nickel, chromium and other heavy metals.

How it works: Made from an ultra-pure copper-zinc alloy, KDF 55 uses a redox process to remove these contaminants, while also having an antibacterial action.

  1. Quartz Crystal

Pollutants removed: Suspended impurities (fine particles, sediments).

How it works: Used as a mechanical filter, quartz sand removes the last impurities and allows purified water to pass through.

  1. Microporous Bioceramics

Pollutants eliminated: Chemical and organic residues, improved water quality.

How it works: This technology improves water quality by reducing the size of molecules, promoting better hydration and water revitalization. Far-infrared rays emitted by bioceramics can also stimulate blood circulation and reduce water surface tension.

Note: The AQUACRISTAL cartridge is designed to treat drinking water as defined by local authorities. It does not filter bacteria, viruses or other living organisms.
